Hello everyone! We've had quite a few new members join The Bravo Company lately, so I'd like to take this time to give an overview of the guild. It may be a refresher for some, but for others this is brand new. Bravo Company is a level 25 heavy RP guild, and is also based in lore. Marshall Troteman and John J. Keeshan are the leaders of Bravo Company in lore, and for our guild's purposes, in their absence, Lieutenant Commander Gregorek Weisshart has dutifully taken on the role of acting leader. We are a military based guild loyal to the kingdom of Stormwind, and the Alliance.
We hold RP events five to seven nights a week, a weekly raid night which is usually Saturdays, as well as tavern nights on Fridays, which is a casual event where the guild comes together to relax and have fun over drinks in game. We also run old school raids for achievements, mounts, titles, and transmog items weekly. There are also training sessions to prepare our characters for battle. There is also a monthly lore trivia night where prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes. We try to keep our events fun and interesting for everyone involved. We try to give players at least a four day notice before the day of any event. Attendance is not mandatory for any event, but participation points do go out to those present. Which brings me to the next topic.
Participation points are awarded to those who attend events. They can be used to withdraw certain items in the guild bank, and count toward promotions within the guild. If you cannot attend events regularly, don't worry! There are other ways to earn participation points. Many of our members keep an in character journal on the website, which is a great way to earn points. This can be done whenever you have a free moment, and it helps the other members understand and get to know your character better. For a more in depth explanation, participation points are explained in the general discussion forums on the website.
I think that about covers it for now! If there are any questions about the guild, the general discussion forums on the website are a great resource. If your question isn't answered there, any one of the officers would be more than happy to help you.
